Vitovlje is an excellent starting point for sport climbing, paragliders and hang gliders (Lijak), SUPing (Vipava Sup Adventure), jumps from the Solkan Bridge (bungee jumping), hikers, cyclists, as well as lovers of the sea, as the Italian coast is only a short ride away. The proximity of the Italian border also offers many other possibilities for day trips. The culinary experience will be enchanted by numerous farm tourisms, “osmicas”, inns and higher-ranking restaurants, among which in the Goriška region you will find three with Michelin stars. Even lovers of the wine will not be left indifferent in the Vipava Valley. Villa Vitovlje is also available for visiting or arriving from major surrounding cities and their airports. You have an hour’s drive to Ljubljana and Trieste, and an hour and a half to Venice.
